A leading Global AM100 Law Firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Secretary to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Litigation Secretary with extensive experience supporting litigation attorneys in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to litigation attorneys from case inception through trial and post-trial.
  • Draft, format, proofread, and manage pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas, discovery, and legal correspondence.
  • Coordinate and manage Federal Court, State Court, and appellate court filings, including e-filing.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trial schedules.
  • Assist with trial preparation, exhibit binders, trial notebooks, deposition summaries, and discovery management.
  • Manage document production, case files, records, and document management systems.
  • Coordinate attorney travel, time entry, billing, and administrative support.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Secretary, or Legal Secretary in a litigation practice.
  • Strong knowledge of California and Federal court rules, procedures, and e-filing requirements.
  • Experience supporting complex litigation matters through trial.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems; iManage preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
